More about STRESS!S.

Stress can be a big part of problems like, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Excessive perspiration, wet hands etc. Insomnia, Obsessive compulsory desires, OCD, Palpitations, Panic attacks, Road rage, Skin problems, Teeth grinding etc. Hypnotherapy is obviously the answer to these types of problems and many others too.

However there are things you can do to help beat stress. First of all start to do something to beat the problem, if for example you are having sleepless nights worrying about making an important phone call, write out a list of things you need to say or ask on that call, so you do not forget anything important, then make the call! The longer you put things off the more difficult it becomes. Once you have started doing something about the problem it does make it easier!

If you are stressed about possible changes in your life, write out for and against, it will help to see details on paper to help you decide. Maybe ask for advice or help. Talking about problems can work wonders

But most important of all, to help you beat beat stress it is most important that you take care of yourself, eat three times a day, small regular meals will help you to feel better, keep your fluid level up, dehydration of your body causes many problems, go to bed at a regular time, get enough sleep, it can work wonders.

Keep yourself fit, even if it is only regular walking, using the stairs not the lift, join a gym not expensive if you go regularly, but very expensive if you only go twice a year! Take up a sport or start dancing or exercise classes. Find hobbies or interests that give you a total break from your daily routines. Your mind as well as your body needs a break from daily routines, make it fun to look after yourself.

Golf is my main exercise, but I do try to walk two or thee miles a day even if I do not play golf. I feel so much better for it.

Remember if you have any questions that I can help you with please do not hesitate to get in touch.

All for now. Keith. Next Month I will be talking about Sleep problems.

This Months problem STRESS!

Stress is a problem that effects virtually everyone at one time or another, unfortunately some people suffer all the time and it can spoil their life and their health. Many clients tell me they are not effected by stress, but after a couple of sessions of hypnotherapy they realise just how much of an effect it had been having on their lives.

We are all aware of the big problems that cause stress, changing jobs, moving house, getting married or divorced, starting a family etc. But it is the smaller day to day problems that go on and on that cause the long term problems, money problems, health problems, relationship problems, work problems, sleep problems, eating problems, lack of confidence, bullying etc.

I often have clients telling me they work / study better under stress, not true, it is just that they have got into a state where that is the only way they can work. When they learn to really relax their memory / concentration and motivation will all be improved and they will enjoy their work so much more. Hypnotherapy has often totally changed the way people feel about their work, putting fun back into their lives after years of unhappiness.

Some symptoms of STRESS. 1. Unable to relax. 2.Frequent feelings of boredom or frustration. 3. Excessive anger. 4. Bad temper. 5. Anxiety or panic attacks.
